A Defender bulkhead fits nicely in the back of a 110 Station Wagon, Utility Wagon, Hard top or Pickup. In a Station Wagon the second row seats will need to be down. There is enough space between the wheel arches to comfortably fit the bulkhead lying down. I believe that a 90 or 110 Double Cab Defender would have a problem transporting a bulkhead as there isn't enough space for it to lie flat, or enough vertical space to prop it on end.
I elected to lie the bulkhead flat on its back to prevent mashing the clutch hose brackets on the footwell front faces. To prevent damage to the dashboard upper brackets and footwell floors, I propped some blue roll underneath to support the bulkhead at strength points, but any spongy material would work.
The Td5 bulkhead (AHA710460) that I collected weighed 29.7kg and measured approximately 162cm wide, 87cm tall, and 27cm deep at its fattest point (the footwells).
