The analogue clock is located within the instrument pack. The clock is illuminated when the side lamps or headlamps are switched on.
Operation
Feed from the battery positive terminal connected to fuse 7 and fusible link 6 of the engine compartment fuse box (C0632-1) by a brown wire. Fuse 7 supplies a constant battery feed to the clock (C0232-3) on a purple/brown wire. The clock (C0232-2) is earthed on a black wire.
Fusible link 6 of the engine compartment fuse box (C0571-3) is connected to the lighting switch (C0041-1) by a brown/blue wire. When the lighting switch is in the side lamp or headlamp position, current flows across the switch (C0041-2) to fuse 12 of the passenger compartment fuse box (C0581-1) on a red wire. Fuse 12 (C0581-4) supplies a feed to the clock illumination bulb (C0232-1) on a red/orange wire via header 290. The clock illumination bulb (C0232-2) is earthed on a black wire.
