"Exmoor Trim has a ridiculous lead time for off the shelf components.... 12 weeks??
"More reliable parts at a fair price. Genuine parts are crazy prices for some parts - after market parts are too cheap and poor quality.
100% support the series line
A code of practice around the term OEM, so that OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer and not "OEM quality" which can mean anything and usually means a cheaply made substitute at an inflated price.
A highly regarded, high quality, aftermarket parts brand that manufactures parts in the UK (not britpart)
A system to identify quality parts
A system to identify quality parts
Above all, improve the quality of Land Rover parts!!
Accurate description
Accurate descriptions for parts and their origins. The ability to review indervidual parts from the manufacturers rather than review the website.
Accurate Photo’s with sizes and people on the Phone who care and have knowledge
Accurate Photo’s with sizes and people on the Phone who care and have knowledge
All parts cross-referenced between all suppliers, on a single website...
Any parts to future proof landrover vehicles
As above
As Mike pointed out it would be good to have some sort of heritage setup like there is for old BMC cars (I am a Mini fan and owner as well as Land rovers )
Availability and accessibility of parts and spares.
Availability... quite some necessary replacement parts are unavailable for my 91
back to quality parts, OEM, genuine and no more cheap srap
Be able to find the real manufacturer of a component and the country where it’s manufactured.
be honest what make of part they are sending dont substitue if they dont have the on in the picture... maybe a way of reviweing the makes and parts for failures warrenties are pointless when the wording says once you have fitted this item you cant return or complain due to owners use..

Better quality and more obsolete / NLA parts
Better quality and quantifiable specifications (I.e. not simply ‘uprated’)
Better quality at a good price. Genuine Landrover prices are ridiculous
Better quality at less rediculous prices! Genuine parts are exorbitantly expensive, and finding quality 'OEM' parts is becoming harder to do. The quality of some of the so called 'OEM' parts is not great these days. Even some gen LR parts aren't as good as they used to be.
Better quality but cheaper
Better quality control
Better quality control
Better quality control during production
better quality especially 'rubber' items
Better quality even for the cheapest parts
Better quality from aftermarket retailers, i.e. better build quality ordered from China rather than as cheaply made as possible- reliability.
Better quality from non Chinese manufacturers
Better quality of them and not having to pay crazy high prices for some of these spares, talking especially about Genuine Land Rover spares, though I guess it will never happen.
Better quality parts
Better Quality Parts
Better quality parts form Britpart
Better quality parts or clearer labelling for NOS Land Rover parts or OEM parts
Better quality parts. Lets get rid of the 25% lowest quality bits. E.g. how come a brand new Series 3 wheel bearing feels as if it has been smeared in sand....
Better quality products. Too much cheap rubbish out there
Better quality rubber components
Better quality rubber parts
better quality standards for the cheaper options

Better worldwide availability
bigger and lower cost parts avail stateside
Bigger selection of parts from Bearmach. Their customer service and operational capabilities are the best but their selection isn't. If LRParts and Bearmach combined, that would be the ideal.
Bring manufacture of parts to the UK. Improve quality control. Inform the buyer where the part is actually made (not just designed or stocked)
Camping accessories
Can’t see why “ genuine” parts should cost so much more than Orem. Who’s to say these weren’t the parts originally used from the same source.

Cheaper worldwide shipping.

Cross-Atlantic shipping solutions for large items (Headliners, AC kits, bumpers) I paid £350 to ship an aftermarket AC unit."
Distingishuabilty of Britpart "blue" and Britpart relabled NOS
Dont know
DPF (Diesel Particle Filters) for old Land Rovers, so we again can drive our bellowed LR´s in the major cities in Europe (and Denmark) where they now due to particle emissions are banded
Dropp the real bad parts that exist among good parts from same brand. Like the fan above, and lower end of Btitpart
each online retailer should have next to the image of the part its diagram. in addition, instead of having different pages for the same product of different quality, online retailers should do as LRparts.com does, showing you the picture and then different options
Easier identification of part numbers
Easier service items - but in general they are well catered for.
Eliminate suppliers of dodgy parts (name and shame) and flag suppliers that price gouge.
Elimination of all the knockoff garbage waste parts from overseas that doesn't last
Even better quality
Every supplier to the US to use DHL.
everything is fine
expertise re. actual fitment/use/suitability of parts
Fair prices for genuine parts
Fair quality at a fair price
Fairer pricing on original parts
Faster delivery
Find a cheap effective way of identifying part numbers ie not having to pay £50+ for a parts book for each Land Rover type.
Find more sources for discontinued LR parts
Fitting Instructions would often help
Folks selling parts actualy know what they are talking about
For Land Rover to have a spare division supplying warranted parts like the old Unipart division at sensible prices
For Land Rover to have a spare division supplying warranted parts like the old Unipart division at sensible prices
For Land Rover to have a spare division supplying warranted parts like the old Unipart division at sensible prices

Get rid of the cheap parts. Don't sell them, so I know the part I buy is a quality part.
Get rid of the poor quality parts suppliers/manufactures
Get rid-off 2020 Defender & all nuckle heads who design that car & design a New Defender from scratch. All so it better not be a Moms succer car/van.. LOL
Get the c**p out of the supply chain.
Getting cheaper OME parts in the EU!
Give me quality and not el cheapo anyday!
Good balance between quality and price. Genuine parts from Land rover are too expensive and cheap aftermarket parts can be rubbish.

Good quality consumables like glues
good quality for a price lower then Land Rover genuine parts
Good quality parts @ reasonable prices.
Good quality parts that last a reasonable amount of time .
Good quality replacement parts - some of the made in China stuff is terrible
Good quality, good service and competitive pricing
Great idea
Greater availability through local outlets. Allowing for free and convenient collection of parts.
Greater clarity on the quality of parts.
Guaranteed quality without extortionate Land Rover prices
Have a consistent vat policy. Some charge vat, some don’t for Australian customers
Have Bearmach or OEM parts more often than Britpart...but not sure how you would regulate that.
Have places that sell only real quality part ie, they only stock suppliers that make parts, equipment, to include body panels and other hard parts that are better than stock.
Having somewhere (LRW maybe?) where people can leave comments to say a particular pattern part from a certain manufacturer is OK in regards to quality. This will provide reassurance to people that this part is OK versus spending loads on a genuine part. Problem is people move away from 'blue bags' because of justified poor experience but maybe there are some gem parts that are OK.
Higher standards and quality
I am quite happy with it now.
I buy locally to support, but when hunting further, one place to deal with
I don't have idea.
I feel that for the diy man without the help or lrworkshop its an easy place to bent over the barrel as it were online or even at a local dealer
I have a RoW 90; often hard to get parts in USA. Would gladly buy parts from UK if I could be *sure* of fitment and shipping times.
I suppose that in the near future there will be only 2 choices for us. Genuine/OEM and aftermarket parts which will eventually be from 1 brand with factories in China. I do not see any improvements in the near future. Its going to be China or the UK.
I think generally it’s great
I think its pretty much covered
I think most of us would like to have an improvement of quality and reliability without sacrifiyng prices
I would like genuine parts to stay available as porsche do it for their classic division
I would like more explanations about the immobilizer system of the defender puma td4 year 2011
I would like OEM quality to actually mean fit for purpose."
I would like to see better quality parts, ie for fit and longevity, and would be prepared to pay a realistic price. I don’t want cheap and crap. Maybe employ some more modern engineering solutions/manufacturing techniques to old outdated components.
I would like to see landrove genuine part costs reduce they have a complete monopoly and an unacceptable mark up.
I would like to see more online retailers in south africa, with extensive stores like LRDriect, Bearmarch etc so we dont need to import stuff so much. Customs is a pain.
I'd like to see more user reviews on retailer sites, particularly where options for OEM vs pattern parts are offered. Informed choices lead to changes in buyer behaviour, which drives manufacturers to improve, or at least maintain quality.
I'd pay for better quality parts but let's not rip us off.
If they can improve on parts that are known to fail or have design flaws, this will really be great
Import substainability (this doe snot mean cheep!)
Improve design for better fitment
Improve the quality for parts
improve the quality of spare parts for engines and chassis
Improved quality and availability
improved quality with creditable warranty, easily available, reasonably priced and quick delivery
improving quality
In general higher quality.
In quality
Increase the competition making the pricing more competitive in the USA. being able to buy from someone like exmoor trim directly instead of through a retailer
Increased efforts to curb counterfeit products
Independient of the origen, the parts must gaurantee the best cuality as possible.
Inferior poor quality, poor fitting parts not offered for sale
It works well if you are selective.
IT would be great a Shop in Switzerland with diff Vendor Parts for Defenders
it would be great if genuine parts were an reasonable price
It would be great if there was some parts control. Some parts for sale should never be allowed. That is a shame and wrong.
It would be nice if there was an standard indication for the quality of parts
It would beneficial if when buying parts online, they could provide accurate pictures so that you can use it to identify parts.
It's fine as it is
I’d like genuine parts to be genuine spec, don’t care who makes it but the quality needs to be consistent
I’d like to know who manufactures parts so I know when I’m paying more money for the same thing I could get cheaper from someone else.
Keep going on
Keep going! There will always be business!
keep old part available. I got problem with Disco 2 V8 parts not available anymore
Keep prices and availability for EU customers despite Brexit

Less Chinese parts
Less crap from China.
Less discrepancy in prices for the same product
Less dross
Less faceless web sites, more proper advice
Less manufacturers but with high quality parts
Less of a gap in prices between poor and good parts.
Less poor quality parts and less poor quality dealers
Less reliance on pattern parts from the far east and more OEM supplies
Less reliance on really cheap parts from Asia - total false economy and often downright dangerous
Lesss garbage, but quality parts for future availability.
Listen more to what Defender owners want
Low quality parts phased out.
Lower postage for v small parts
Lower price on genuine parts!
Lower priced Genuine Parts so not tempted to buy cheap aftermarket that doesn't fit/work
lower prices to make the theft of vehicles for parts less likely.
LR seal of quality for known good fit, without raising the price too much
Lucas - need to improve quality in TW.. very disappointing switch failures, LEP need to flood the market with their good quality lamps.. WIPAC quality has dropped off a cliff. Generally improve quality and charge more where required.. we order OEM where possible to avoid issues, and our customers understand why and are happy to pay.
Made in the UK
Make / origin marked so traceable
Make all parts available!
Make it more clear who manufactures the parts.
Make more quality uk parts not cheap crap
make sure that ALL parts are available for purchase.
Make sure we continue looking after the oldies
Make them last longer
Manufacturing parts that perform as they are supposed to
Many people ( like me) blame Britpart for their low quality, but especially for Series Land Rovers they are often the only source for replacement parts. So I'd like to see them improving their quality and am happy to pay more for better quality parts.
Maybe better descriptions for parts
more 24v Wolf parts
More accessible information from Land Rover
More accurate description of Country of manufacture rather than just stamping aftermarket or OEM
more attention to rust proof materials
More availability of certain parts, though niche players, like LRSOC, Charlesworth, CKDshop, HNJ, WWSpares, Pangolin, are helping with the situation
More availability on older parts that are becoming rare without adding an extortionate price tag to what is available. More quality aftermarket parts to replace genuine where necessary or unavailable
more brands to compete with shit part
More british manufactured parts
More clear definition online of what BRAND a part is. Countless times I order a part and it shows up in a Britpart box when I thought it was authentic etc. There are parts sellers in the US making up their own brands on Amazon (lucky 8 is most guilty) but then the parts are Britpart, Bearmach, etc.
More competition here in Germany. They sell the same bad qualitiy for horrendous prices
More comprehensive parts descriptions (and parts compatabilities)
More consistent quality
More consistently high quality parts
more detail of country of origin of parts
more details and specs.
More European makers. Brexit it’ll make things more difficult due to customs
More fotos inside the internet
More galvanized, stainless, and aluminum products to replace parts that historically have corrosion issues.
more honest and equitable delivery charging
More honesty on availability and delivery times.
More honesty. There are some companies with VERY poor customer service and attitudes, that still manage to fly as high as the others.
More info on lightweight build
More Land Rover Parts manufacturers available thru retailers in the United States.
More OEM parts, pattern parts NOT MADE OF CHEESE!
More parts for Classic models at sensible prices
more parts for Series 2A
More parts suppliers in Canada where I live.
More quality control on replacement parts to weed out poor manufacturing.
More quality/source/price transparency
more range of parts if they can
More reliable quality from likes of Britpart etc.
More stock and choice for military lightweights
More suppliers
More transparency. Knowing what your actually going to get. Bearmach should standardize their part nus, and fix their website
More UK manufacturing
Morre uk less china
Most retailers are very good.
Much better quality! Even Landrover stuff was crap
New materials and solutions
New replacement parts for Lightweights.
no Chinese made parts
no comment
No discontinued parts
No more plastic crap parts put on the cars.
Not selling low quality parts.
OEM etc legally defined and retailers fined for selling cheap shit as if it’s genuine quality.
OEM quality improvement,
Offer a true "Next Day" delivery service, at additional cost
Ok as it is Any part I want is available
Older OEM parts have realistic prices
Out of UK, brexit is gonna mak parts more expensive.....especially small parts
Paint quality on aftermarket items often very poor. How about adding product review to your site?
Part description and availability
Parts Catalogues, we used to have them in book form and they were excellent searchable resources, now much harder to find and use online, images to small, not linked to parts numbers
parts quality, even OEM parts partnumber finishing in "G" some times are bad
Parts should be fit for purpose
Parts that are made of good quality materials
Parts that you order come with bolts and any extra fittings need to fit the item.
Parts to be tested prior to coming to market
Please contrate on delivering quality parts.
Please don't give up on the 2.6L engine.
pretty good now!
produce good quality parts for an affordable price, we know that you get what you pay for but there should be another possibility than the LR-orig. parts killer prices..
Provide better aftermarket parts for Series Land Rovers
Put obsolete parts back into production to keep older Land Rovers running.

Reasonably priced US distributors
Reduce prices !!!!
Reduction in delivery charges, these vary so much between retailers when the item prices are relatively similar.
Remanufacture of more obsolete parts like plastic trims that get brittle as they get older.
replacement parts higher built quality required, better material quality for higher corrosion protection
Replacements parts whit a Better quality than orriginal
Respect classics don’t just sell the expensive new items for modern vehicles
restomod
RRC parts
Searching by part name is sometimes limited - too many non relevant matches.
Simple - Land Rover heritage parts like they do for old BL cars - it can be done and there is a captive market!
Simplification of part numbers and what to order if it has been superseded or upgrading
Smaller retailers are usually very responsive but can also be incredibly difficult to deal with. I would like to see smaller companies, or those run by enthusiasts, deliver on promised products and stock.
So not assume that buyers understand jargon
Some parts are single source and too expensive for what they are.
Some parts hard to find and stuck relying on second hand parts
Some websites are not up to scratch which is annoying.
Some websites are not up to scratch which is annoying.
Somehow prevent Britpart from hoovering-up more and more parts distribution
Standardisation
State on websites where the part is manufactured. Improve overall quality of the cheaper stuff. I would buy all genuine/OEM if some it was not so excessively expensive.
Stay cheap.
Stop charging ridiculous prices for parts which clearly have minimal value and low manufacturing costs.
Stop making cheap parts that don’t actually fit
Stop making sstuff in china without QC, some stuff is not worth putting in a box, some is excellent for the money, up the quality, a few quid for a door handle made of cheese or a genuine for £70, there is more than a market for £15 door handles etc non are available, all too cheap but don't fit/work/last waste of energy and material in the making and supply, really annoying trying to make crap fit.
stop selling cheap foreign parts that are not fit for purpose
Stop selling cheaply made, poorly fitting unreliable parts. They look like good value but are always a waste of money
Stop selling unreliable Chinese parts.
Stop sourcing parts from China!
Stop using ‘stock’ photos. A photo of what your getting instead of a good part then sent Britpart.
stronger parts
subsidised / reduce prices so the "theft - strip and sell" market ceases to exist. I'm sure insurance companies would be happy to oblige or JLR - it would help their reputation somewhat
Supplying genuine or oem standard
Support for older models especially RR Classic's
Take notes from PA Blanchard. Easy website, part number search. Pictures and descriptions .
The difference in price between original Landrover and OEM is often as big as the difference in fit/quality
The quality of parts needs to improve in order for defenders and others. To stay fairly reliable into the future. not to mention legal.
The suppliers I use are good, the rest are likely to fade, so standards will rise.
There are far too many, cheap copy parts available. It is so difficult to identify them. Although sometimes it doesn't matter as they do the job.
They use standard manufacturers, reduce the price just because it has LR on it does not mean it's better
Think it is pretty good compared to other other makes of cars i've owned, but no one supplier has all the parts so makes for a lot of hunting round.
To keep competitive pricing in Europe now the Brexit is posing uncertain times with regards to additional costs.
uk made parts
Uk made. Original spec parts.
Up the quality of pattern parts, I would pay the price for quality.
Very good as it is.
we need something reasonably priced but with good quality
Website
Weed out the rubbish parts
Where there are known issues with either original parts that fail, or poor quality replacement parts, that these are hilited and improved and it would be great if some kind of recall of inferior parts be done....(very unlikely to ever happen, but being naively hopeful)
while I'm not in (what I perceive to be) the average tax bracket of the typical Defender owner (at least here in the US) I do intend to keep my truck for a long time and I want parts that will help me do that, and I'm willing to pay more for those parts... to an extent of course
why is that the paint on anything metal disappears and is replaced with rust after one winter?
Wider parts availability with quicker dispatch times
wider variety of original parts
would be nice to have parts manuals online that link directly to search and purchase to simplify finding the correct part then buying it.
Would like to find all the parts in one place and be able to consolidate shipping.
Would like to see a Land Rover parts supplier doing what Terrain Tamer (Australia) do for Toyota/Japanese vehicles i.e. OEM equivalent (or better) quality parts, sourced from the original manufacturers (e.g. Japanese bearings). TT even supply kits with quality seals/fasteners included.
