Fitting Defender front outrigger mud flaps - Land Rover Blog

My front mud flaps were falling apart, and I don't like them for two reasons.

1. They get in the way when I'm trying to do an oil change as they're so low (In my garage I have to lie in from the side)
2. They don't stop any crud piling up on the front outrigger

The exposure of the front outrigger is a weird design flaw that lets your outriggers corride almost as fast as the rear crossmember. These replacement mudflaps were really easy to fit, just using the inner wing to bulkhead screws and slide up between the two.
