The distinction is important when writing reviews on this site, so that we can learn what brands we can trust, what we should aim for and who might be an OEM for Land Rover. If there is a name stamped or printed on the actual part, then this should be used as the name of the manufacturer. When there isn't, use the name of the supplier as the manufacturer.
