Replacing the steering damper bushes is very satisfying as it's an incredibly easy job. It probably doesn't make much of an impact on the steering feel, but it feels good none the less.
You can detect a worn bush by twisting the steering damper to see how much movement there is. The new bush at the eyelet end (NTC1775) can be pressed in by hand. The bushes at the other end (568858) come off very easily.
